Frogger - Reimagined

Immediately following the creation of Double Trouble, I took part in a class to recreate a classic game. In this class, we were broken into teams of six and were provided a list of classic games to recreate. For this task, my team and I selected Frogger. In the first week, we remade Frogger as close to original as we could. My role concentrated around ensuring the character moved properly and could interact with the moving logs properly.

The following week we were tasked to make it our own. We discussed some ideas, finally settling on making the game 3D, effectively changing the overall gameplay. In this week, and the following two, we took the time to change the end game conditions, changed the movement functionality of the frog, added additional collectibles, changed how the level was designed, and added another enemy type. My roles included changing the character movement, changing the camera functionality, adding animations to the frog, turtles, and new enemy bird, and creating a simple AI system for the bird enemy.

The fully playable game, including older iterations can be found below. Be prepared for the intro music and enjoy!
